Position Overview:
Eligible for a hybrid work schedule split between home & office.
The Procurement Category Manager is accountable for category leadership and driving breakthrough results in innovation, quality, service, risk and cost, across agricultural and non-consumable categories. This will require developing close relationships with Culinary, field operations, and FSQA to ensure that everyday needs and innovation pipelines are supported, while maintaining long term views on capacity and industry trends.

Here’s more of what you’ll get to do:
Category Management:
- Deliver breakthrough results through the sourcing process and development of assigned category strategies.
- Accountable to drive key insights for capacity analyses for short and long-term business continuity planning.
- Protect the supply chain and brand’s margins with ensuring best-in-class contract execution.
- Develop a sustainable savings pipeline that drives P&L improvement for the brand.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to source new products and supplier capability evaluation.
Brand Building Initiative Support:
- Develop strategic relationships with key Brand contacts establishing accountability for the category, and overall subject matter expertise (SME).
- Manage new menu development through timely sourcing of products to support all brand menu changes.
- Drive optionality and design optimization (through supplier collaboration).
- Lead and develop subject matter expertise (SME) on the Brands Sustainability initiatives and the industry’s options.
Finance and Reporting:
- Accountable for the reporting of and performance to the Cost of Goods (COGs) for key category items.
- Accountable for all new initiatives to ensure projects are on track and appropriately reported to the leadership team.
- Work with Supply chain Systems and Analytical team to ensure alignment with pricing deadlines and key raw commodity updates.
Supplier Relationship Management and Continuous Improvement:
- Develop strategic supplier relationship and transform the supplier support models to drive meaningful innovation and improvements.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain Planning team to ensure product fulfillment into distribution is met on a weekly basis by suppliers.
What we require:
- 3+ years of experience in Procurement.
- Bachelor’s degree with a focus on data analytics, business or economics.
What we prefer:
- 3+ years of progressive experience in sourcing strategy development and packaging procurement.
- MBA or master’s degree in supply chain.
