Our Bakery team brings our world-famous cheesecakes to over 200 The Cheesecake Factory restaurants, as well as many well-known third-party clients such as Barnes & Noble and Costco.
But it’s not just about our cheesecakes! It’s about creating a great place to work. We host holiday parties, offer comprehensive healthcare with retirement planning and so much more!

Our History
1972
Our first bakery opens in North Hollywood, CA as Great World Foods, Inc.
1976
On the move! The bakery relocates to Woodland Hills, CA and we start delivering to local restaurants in Southern California.
1978
The first The Cheesecake Factory restaurant opens in Beverly Hills, CA.
1986
Our 16,400 sq. ft. bakery production facility opens in Calabasas Hills, CA. We begin selling to clients nation-wide.
1990
Our delicious desserts are available at retailers and club stores such as Ralphs Grocery and Price Club (Costco).
2003
The Godiva® Double Chocolate Cheesecake debuts for our restaurant’s 25th anniversary.
2006
Coast to Coast! Our 110,000 sq. ft. bakery facility opens in Rocky Mount, NC.
2008
30th Anniversary Chocolate Cake Cheesecake debuts as we celebrate our first annual National Cheesecake Day.
2012
Going global! We expand our international sales to Asia, Mexico and the Middle East.
2018
The Cheesecake Factory At Home™ brand launches, featuring our single serve cheesecake slices and mini 3-pack cupcakes.
2027
Our third bakery is slated to open in Charlestown, IN.
